About Libelula: A matter of balance
When the dragonfly (Libélula) came to us – and not the other way around – we were surprised by many of its qualities, but one of them inspired us specially: its role in the balance of its surroundings.
It virtually sees everything around it at the same time. It is incredibly agile and flies as if suspended in the air, swiftly covering great distances, as if guided by a GPS, to arrive loaded with pollen, always on time to fertilize its environment.
Its struggle not only focuses on its own survival, but strives unflaggingly to eliminate plagues and other threats endangering its ecosystem: it is very well aware that its existence depends on preserving its environment.
This example led us to create Libélula communication, environment and development.
We believe that today's new environmental challenges may lead us to find a balance between the social, economic and environmental dimension of our reality and project us to the sustainable development of organizations and society, towards a perspective where the richness of our country may play to the benefit of all.
Our challenge is to work closely with the actors of this change, to develop an environmental awareness towards building sustainable policies at every level. We are guided in this effort by the need to preserve our environment and the incentive of reaching environmental and social benefits that may lead to the success of the organizations. This requires experience and the vision of many people from different disciplines working together.
We are all aware that there is plenty to do in the subject of the environment, but the question is where to start and what we may really achieve. Our day-to-day decisions will make this transformation possible, a transformation that will definitely benefit us all.
